Meet Blightee!
Garden Catharsis in the Form of a T-Shirt
$16.00 / $14.00 for Members

This holiday season, soothe your favorite gardener's soul--and resurrect a fighting spirit for next season--with the gift of a Blight Bites t-shirt. We came up with the t-shirt in mid-August, as we shivered and shed water, pulling up unharvested tomato plants by the dozen. Out of our own misery was borne--voila!--a cathartic t-shirt. Keep up the blight fight this winter: put our feisty Blight Bites logo on a loved one's chest and witness tomato fervor be re-born. Watch out, summer 2010!

Each shirt features the "Blight Bites" image front and center with a very small Hudson Valley Seed Library logo on the sleeve. The American Apparel-brand natural-color shirts are made in America and woven from 100% organic cotton; the printing is done by Antilogy Designs in Tillson, New York. The logo is based on a design created by Michael Wilcock.

Shirts cost $16 each, or $14 for members (be sure to log in to receive your discount). To purchase a shirt, click on your desired size, then click "Add to Cart" on the following page. (A sportion of the proceeds from these tees will go towards developing blight-resistant open-pollinated tomato varieties through farm- and garden-based breeding and seed-saving efforts.)
